It’s currently available as a basic, free package, that adds the necessary features to fly your flight plan, but there’s also a premium upgrade that adds some extended features. The PMS50 GTN750 mod, currently available in beta, integrates a very nice and easy-to-use touchscreen that simulates the overall features and operations of the Garmin GTN 750 (with some limitations given the current state of the sim).

It’s the PMS50 GTN750, currently available for freem and is a great touchscreen replacement for the G1000 or Garmin 430 systems!

There’s now a new mod that adds a new set of avionics that you can use in a series of airplanes in MSFS, such as the Cessna C172, the DA40NG, or the Grand Caravan. they disappear for so long, leave all their customers with no support and then suddenly reappear out of nowhere holding their hand out for another wad of our money. Here’s a nice addition to general aviation pilots in Flight Simulator. I dunno, this sort of stuff just irks me. Product support was left to customers like Bert Pieke who volunteered his own time to help out people on the RXP forum in the absence of the developer. They kept their product page up though, so they could still sell stuff, even though they had no intention of supporting it. Plenty of people have tried to get in touch with them over the years to ask about P3D versions and other stuff, but all enquiries went unanswered. Their products were pretty popular and they had a strong following, but they simply fell off the face of the earth without warning and left everybody hanging. I am somewhat irked by how RXP have just popped back up suddenly after years of total absence from the scene - no support, no communication, nothing. The way it is now on their website I think more than a few people are going to miss this very important fact. No outrage on my part - but I do know from experience that something like the 32bit only has to be made totally and utterly explicit in a manner that the customer can't miss. He probably got a nice letter from RXP's lawyers.

Kind of funny really - Flight One release a very successful GTN, then the surprise release of a GNS now all of a sudden RXP are back with no explanation why they disappeared, why they left their customers hanging in the breeze and why they gave no support for what - five years?Īt least we now know why the Brazilian guy who managed to hack the RXP GNS units and get them working in P3D never publically released his work. as you quite rightly say it doesn't do anything to help rebuild this potential customer's trust in RXP.

Now given how RXP pretty much abandoned their previous product lineup for many years with no updates, no communication and no support, given how they even failed to update the product information on their website to say their products do not work with either FSX-SE or P3D. There's already one guy on Avsim who pulled the trigger on it not realising it wouldn't work with 64bit. It should be in size 100 font, flashing pink and green - "32bit only!"
